This can be easily done by removing the Number One spark plug and turning the engine until pressure is felt. Then slowly move the crank until the TDC mark is lined up with 0 timing on the timing tab. I haven't noticed any ping and may go up to 12.8 or 12.9.. plug the handheld in and watch the AFR's during all phases and it'll give you a good indication. WebFeb 14, 2024 · Ok just to make sure I understand you. You are getting up to NOT and then adjusting the idle screw until you get between 2-10% (lower the better). Then allowing the sniper to learn your idle AFR. But it sounds as though you went back in and adjusted the AFR table to 10.7 at idle so it wouldn't stall on pressing on the gas at idle?
